Smooth Router Bit for super clean/chip free pockets in Melamine, Plywood, Softwoods, and Hardwoods. This bit has a 8mm cutting diameter with a shank size of 8mm and a Reverse-Helix geometry (Down-Cut).

The 8mm Smooth Router Bit that has been exclusively designed for use in the Castle 110 for super clean/chip free pockets in Softwoods, Hardwoods, Melamine, and Plywood. 

NOTE: For the fastest chip removal use the Helix (Up-Cut) roughing cutter [Part B02518]  OR  use the Reverse-Helix (Down-Cut) roughing bit [Part B02517] which is a great compromise with a fast chip removal and good quality pockets with minimal tear out.
